This book was instrumental in changing my life. I had been a Christian 17 years. When I saw what happened to these dear saints, I became very hungry to be likewise empowered. After several weeks of intense prayer, Bible study, and fasting, God met me in like manner. That was 47 years ago. I have never been the same since. An intense desire to read and study God's Word came. I had loved and feasted on It before, but now I read till 2 or 3 every morning for years. I have read it through 33 times now, but usually just study and feast on verses, chapters, themes etc. With 3 other men, we formed a Bible Church where I co-pastored 28 years (while practicing dentistry). I am still thrilled to read and teach His Word. I am so thrilled He has led me to minister in the Texas and Louisiana Prisons, and see the "captives set free". I don't consider myself and Evangelist, but He has helped me evangelize in many different settings ... something I wanted to do, but never succeeded in till entering the joy and power of the Spirit Filled Life. Again, this book was instrumental in changing my life. I wish every born-again Christian could read it.Rob Carpenter
